Ian Mitchell Innes teaching a classroom session to our 105 attendees.

We had a great group of folks show up this year at our 12th annual grazing school held at Green Pastures Farm. The weather was good and folks were energized to learn everything that we threw at them. The pasture walks were filled with great questions from the attendees.

Ian and I shared what worked well on our farms and things that did not work well. Our goal is to help people not make the same mistakes that we did starting out. Grazing is a great life when things are done right!

Jan fed some awful good meals and snacks to the attendees. We heard from numerous attendees that this was the best school they had ever attended. One chap told me that it was the best 3 days of his life!!

It was an amazing group and you could sense the hunger for learning new ideas. Hope to see some of you at our 2020 May 7-9th grazing school with Ian and I here at Green Pastures Farm.

I did not get to attend unfortunately but my good friend and neighbor Norbert Vanganip did and said it was a great experience. We are hoping to run additional cattle without purchasing additional land. I am looking forward to coming in the future. Interested in the sheep side of the business also. Looking forward to putting up very little hay in the future!
