Welcome to the Scott house!
This little guest house was falling down until we decided to save it. It was Greg’s Uncle Scott’s house, so that’s where it gets its name. Greg lived in this house too for a few years with his family – 9 people back then with no running water and an outdoor john. It does have running water and a bathroom now!
This 2 bedroom 1 bath house can sleep 5. The kitchen is complete with pots, pans, dishes and even cookbooks. The home comes with sheets and towels stocked. There is a fire pit outside for a lovely fire to sit around at night. The stars are very bright in this part of the country.
Want to play some games or read a book? Just sit down on the lovely covered porch and relax. You might even be lucky enough to see a deer or two.
We are close to some hiking trails, state parks, and fishing areas. You can find some wineries and fine dining if you don’t want to cook. We’ve left a book for you with ideas to go of places visit the small towns that surround us.
